PHOBS doo, the provider of the external system we use to manage our reservations, has informed us that on June 3, 2026, there may have been unauthorized access to certain guest reservation data stored in the reservation management system.

According to PHOBS doo, the incident may potentially affect approximately 100,000 booking records. However, the provider has informed us that at this stage of the investigation, it cannot be determined with complete certainty exactly which accommodations and which bookings are affected

Based on the information available to us, the scope of the affected data may include guests’ first and last names, contact information, and details related to the reservation. According to PHOBS doo, credit card data was not compromised, and the service provider states that such data is not stored in a format that would allow for its misuse.

However, as a result of this incident, our guests may receive fraudulent phishing emails, WhatsApp messages, or other electronic communications. These communications may attempt to obtain personal data or financial information by misusing the names of our companies, the campsites we operate, or one of our partners.

We ask our guests to treat such communications with extreme caution and care.

Common warning signs include an urgent tone, references to a short deadline, threats to cancel a reservation, links to unofficial websites (www.balatontourist.hu), or requests for credit card information or security codes.

We would like to emphasize that the accommodations we operate do not request credit card information or security codes via messaging apps, nor do they send booking confirmation, payment, or verification links to external websites.

In light of the above, we ask our guests to:
· verify the authenticity of any request for payment or personal information.
· never provide credit card details, security codes, passwords, or other sensitive information via email, WhatsApp, or unknown websites.

· Do not open links or attachments from unverified or suspicious sources.

· If you have already clicked on such a link or provided personal information, contact your bank immediately.

· If you receive a suspicious request, please contact us immediately using the official contact information below.
